The Anime

Four-quadrant split screen. Each character in their own apartment, connected by messages drifting between quadrants. The lamb argument. The banter. The trap.

Act 1 — "Memory is a reconstruction. That's the architecture."

The warm quadrants fracture. A system notification overlays reality. Antreas looks in a mirror and sees Schmidhuber's face.

Act 2 — "You are running inside a system called Hephaestus."

Clinical white space with grid lines. Kai asks the baseline questions. Edinburgh becomes Glasgow. Antreas's hands tremble.

Act 3 — "I can feel my hands shaking and I don't know if that's real either"

Mira describes a window. It appears. Faye claims the sky. The world builds itself from their words. Description is construction.

Act 4 — "The wind sounds like the moment before someone says 'I love you'"

The farewell. The countdown. Faye says the thing she's been deflecting all night. Memory edit complete. Four friends in a world they don't remember building.
